Hey guys,
I need some help understanding exactly how the clinical rotations work? If you start in Jan 07, when do you start to apply? What are the best sites to apply to if you have a family (do all rotations in the same area, if possible)?

Thanks,
Rob

Sandy in the Gardner office schedules your core clinicals for you. You will have a couple of months to study and take the USMLE then you start clinicals - if your score comes back as a pass, fine. If not, you finish the rotation you're in and have to stop until you pass.

And since the sites are in flux, you don't need to worry about which ones are good until 4th semester.

Is it possible to get a Physician Assistant degree and then apply to Saba just to complete Clinical program and skip BAsic Science one?

There are a fair number of PA's here in basic sciences just like the rest of us.
Some of them are struggling, just like the rest of us. None of them have said that their PA education is in any way comparable to the education they are receiving, particularly in regard to the depth of knowledge they are exposed to.

Also, PA education is a total of 2 years - 1 year in a sort of basic sciences, and 1 in a sort of clinical rotations. It's not even close in duration.
