View Full Version : LORs
So what do you guys think I should do for LORS I know most schools want 3 so I don’t know what combination of 3 to do or if I should send in 4?...my choices are....
1. A professors
2. Another pro.
3. The Doctor/Head nurse or someone and the unit I volunteer at
4. The owner of the company I have worked for the past 6-7 years
I'm trying to figure out whets a good combination to go with. I was thinking 1 professor and then the other two but I wasn’t sure any input would be appreciated thanks!

I would be happy to write a letter of recommendation for you:) or if you prefer, I can send one of my crew as a singing telegram :D
The latter, is very popular among admission committee's worldwide.

LOR is not only for admission. School keeps your LORs until the end of graduation. In order to apply to the residency programs, you need a dean's letter from your med school. If you have more good LORs, you will get better dean's letter.
Especially, it is more important the LORs in the clinical years. My dean's letter to ECFMG for ERAS showed exact copy from my LORs like this; Dr A said he is working hard blah blah and Dr B said he is capable working as a resident blah blah.
Don't mess it up from the beginnng of your career. Life is serious sometimes! ;)
