anyone know if there are any plans in the future to have a possible 5th semester in florida?

or maybe in NY? or MA? or GA? or LA? or AL? maybe NM, CO, NV?? :)
dont bank on ? future plans cuz chances are it will take some time to implement and you will be long done by the time anything comes of it... when everyone starts speculating about xyz .. leaves lots of room for disapointment when things dont happen when in fact nothing concrete was planned to begin with...

Lets talk after we get the michigan site set up. I just hope that in the process we dont lose the maine campus...it would be a significant loss

I'm sorry but the Maine campus seems to be coming to an end after the last MD/MHSA class enters clinicals.

SMU had an open house in NY, they said student that would start for the fall semester will spend first 5 semesters in Cayman. They are in the process to have the 5th semester in Florida.

Was someone mistaken, or is this true? We were under the impression that the 5th semester students might be in Michigan this fall...Florida has never come up as a place where we would go.

Not that I would mind.

SMU had an open house in NY, they said student that would start for the fall semester will spend first 5 semesters in Cayman. They are in the process to have the 5th semester in Florida.

I believe you misunderstood. It was said that we are working on 5th semester in the U.S. and I believe an example was given. It was not stated that we are in the process of moving 5th semester to Florida. Feel free to contact the school and the person that was at the open house will be more than happy to speak with you.

Not yet. SMU is working on it, but nothing will be announced until the papers are signed.

Yea, so I heard that SMU is planning to have 5th semester in Helena, Montana...has anyone heard of this? I also heard of a hub clinical site opening up in Reykjavik, Iceland. Any info would be appreciated! lmao

Actually I heard SMU has merged with University of Southern Maine. It will now be known as SMUUSM.
