Anyone heard of this school? what its all about?Sounds like a particularly wholesome place. Do they concentrate on religious studies?

Choice, valuemd opinions or facts.

Call MCC, ECFMG, etc. directly and find out. Hear it from the source.

To this day, All Saints University of Medicine (ASUM), is recognized by MCC, USMLE, ECFMG, and chartered by Arubian government.

The only fact that remains, its a relatively new school and WHO listing is pending.

Hey Dr_Implacable, do you have an All Saints fetish? We were hoping this school would drop off the VMD radar - now a bunch of posts in one day on different school forums - who cares.

As a rule of thumb..Try to get into the Big Four before 2nd or 3rd tier schools. Be extremely careful when looking into these younger schools....

Be extremely weary when looking into these younger schools....I agree with Islandhopper - where did all these posts come from today on this school - did this person just discover it???? Sorry Dr Imp...It is just funny to see each listing of all Saints on the forums hit with a post by you today. Makes one wonder.

Good to see you posting on other forums than Saba or SGU. Travel does a body good.

Yeah, I decide to hop around since there are too many whiners at Saba:D Yea - I think you are right. Funny Saba was the only school I got rejected at. Am not bitter - actually relived after I visited the island. I think I would go nuts there. My uncle's farm is larger than the island. Nice people. I just need more room. Know why you split.

Yeah I agree. Had I visited the island beforehand, I wouldn't wasted $30,000.

Consider yourself lucky:eek:

Hope you are planning on something more than primary care or family practice. Also sorry I baited you one night on the Saba forum.

I believe ValueMD is a place to share facts about schools, learn about the schools, the students, or to communicate with other students of various institutions, etc. It also serves as an information site for many people. For most, ValueMD is often the only means of getting any insight about an institution (new or old), rather than only having information obtained from the school itself.

I have only advised to call proper legit authorities on issues regarding the topic of the last post. I have not made up anything.

What is wrong with me saying to call MCC, ECFMG, etc directly to find out situations on such schools?

jameslynton, you find my posts funny. Where is the humor in telling people to call the right authorities rather than hear a bunch of allegations on ValueMD? Now on the other hand, I see you posted nothing close to the context of this threads making. If you do not know the situation of a topic, atleast offer some advice (ex. Trying for the big 4) or nothing at all. Was one post not enough? Your first message was very clear, although it had no help of any sort for the context of this thread. Why repeat your opinion? And to answer your question, No I have no fetish that you question of.

P.S. I just stumbled on this post today; I've been very busy lately with things other than ValueMD. If I knew earlier, I'd respond earlier. My response was given today upon recognizing this thread, for the post on May 6th 2006 (my reply was within the same month even). I choose not to spend time on ValueMD posting junk, or better yet try to rack up post counts by trying to continue meaningless conversations.

Advice: Make another thread somewhere else for personal use or go study.

Advice: Make another thread somewhere else for personal use or go study. Hi Doc_Imp look I am not disagreeing with you about this school - however - it is pretty old news on VMD. But that last post was way too serious. It also tips your hat that you don't understand US/Canadian/English idiomatic use of the word funny - in this case it does not refer to humor - it refers to something suspicious. Just like there is something rotten in Denmark - does not mean there is rotten food in Denmark - but something suspicious going on. In this case - I found the number of posts about this school - funny or suspicious all at once.
-Next you will find on VMD plenty of side posts on most if not all threads - matter of fact it is sort of a VMD art form not seen on SDN. I would suggest you look at the many posts of microphage - He is considered the best at the useless posts or side post on a thread. An opinion shared by the lead moderator on VMD who has awarded him the most useless poster.

I myself don't give anyone advise - I do give every once in a while an opinions and/or suggestion - In this case I offer this suggestion - chill out - lighten up and enjoy the wild ride on VMD. Party on dude I was not flaming you.

I understand, but ASUM never had a forum on ValueMD before, and so it seems someone has opened it up at last.

I'll be sure to stick a new topic next time, so old news posts do not lag on, that is if the old issues/rumours are updated first.

By the way, the hat may be tipped, but not fallen. Still Chillin'. ;)
