Hi i would like to apply to medical schools in the caribbean , but i'm having a hard time because in the future i want to practice medicine in the state of Florida but i don't know how to find out which of these schools are recognised by the state of Florida, i already know that AUC,SABA,SGU and ROSS are recognised by Florida but i don't know about any other school, if any of you know about any other schools or website where i can find caribbean medical schools recognized by the state of Florida please let me know, thanks

I live in Florida and researched the same info you're looking for. Florida does not have an approved school list and reviews each applicant individually; however, you might want to look at the SMU site.

Florida is a fair state when it comes to license,they will license you if you are qualified,they do not use any approved lists,I met physicians from Ross,Saba,AUC,SGU,CETEC,UTESA,Spartan,among other physicians practicing in Florida.
for the latest rules I would contact the board,practicing in Florida is lots of fun and sunshine,but due to malpractice crisis in the state many high risk physicians such as OB left or gave up OB,most OB's in S Florida do not buy malpractice insurance,otherwise its nice place to be and raise a family.

i heard that UNIBE graduates can practice in FL
