1st faculty charles

hi,

ive been doing some research into charles university. it seems that they have many different facultys.

Does it make a difference on the faculty you get your degree from?

in which faculty will i find most UK students?

ive also heard alot about the failure rates at charles, can anyone tell me more?

how much do abbey colleges charge for processing of the applications?

they have 3 faculties.
The first is the biggest, but in regards to your question, I am not sure which faculty would have the largest amount of UK Students, though I assume it would be the first faculty.

I'm a student in Hradec Kralove.

30-40% (approximately) are from England.
The failure rate here last year was 60% for dentistry, and a little less for medicine. :shock:

abbey college is a waste of money!! DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!! last year 40 people paid £2000 to take "100% pass rate" revision courses!! and on the day of the exam were told there were not enough spaces at the university only 20 for med and 7 for dentistry, and consequently, everyone one else ended up being shipped all over the czech republic to random univerisities. there were 26 other people who did not do the revision course, n 5 of them got into charles, the rest also got sent to other schools. many people requested to see their papers as they had done practice mocks the day beforehand everyone had passed!!! but they were refused from being allowed to see them! also, they charge an extra £1500 for "administration" wherever you end up!! DONT DO IT!! save ur money!! and apply directly to charles!!

the abbey college man (MR K - super con artist), visited the minor czech universities and made a deal that 30 people would go there this year too

thats a lie... you must be the ones who failed the entrance exam and must be very bitter for not getting in the prestigious 1st faculty. the revision course is quite intensive and very helpful. of course there are lots of students who take them and are not serious, they go to the pubs to drink all nite without studying and expect to pass the exam. the exam is very dicy and intensive course is a must if you really want to get into the 1st faculty. i have pass through it successful and hope through the whole medical program because some discipline student like me will always succeed

If you want to work in Europe then no. However for America the 1st faculty has applied and acquired recognition in more states- so better for NA students.

Definately 1st faculty. 2nd faculty has a fair few as well.

If you cannot answer the question, have missed most of your classes, then you will fail. Some people do fail.

I think it is 1,800 GBP. However only apply through them if you wish to attend the 1st faculty of medicine. All the other schools you can apply directly.
