Hi Everyone,
I'd appreciate some help on my situation. I did my undergraduate education here in the US and graduated in 2002. I landed a great job in the biotech industry thereafter,so I used my practical training year and then went on an H-1 in 2003. My 6th year of my H-1 will be in 2009. I applied to medical schools here in the US recently, I got accepted but deferred my entry for 2007 due to a family crisis. My concern now is, about my H-1. Starting school in 2007, literally gives me two years of H-1 to use for medical residency and probably one year of practical training making a total of three years. What happens in the event that I qualify for a medical residency program of 4years (eg OB, DERM, ANES etc). What will my options be? Does anyone know?
