Hi readers,
Some of you have mentioned or are thinking of visiting a med school soon. If you want to visit our med school here in Krakow then now is a good time (for the students in the 4-year program).
We are inbetween exam crunches for the next week or two and would have time to talk to someone who came to visit.
Just throwing it out for anyone interested.
ps- I passed Histo. No more histo until USMLE. That's the best thing to ever happen. Ever.

Krakow is a beautiful city - the most beautiful in POLAND. However, I must tell you plainly: UJ SUCKS_***. The level of instruction in the 4-year program is horriable in almost every class. I chalange anyone who attends a lecture at UJ to compair the same topic from the HARVARD DVDs or anyother Medschool and I guarentee it will be like night and day. Further more the administration at UJ is the worst I have ever seen. They smile at you until you pay, after that they refuse to lift a finger to help you. COntact me privately if you want the INSIDE SCOOP on UJ in Krakow.

Well anyway...
I like the school and I can offer anyone who requests the email addresses of some students in my class and you can ask them for their opinions.
This medical program, like any, has weak points and strong ones. I think most of the lectures could be done better, but I've thought that in most of my lectures at universities in the US and France too.
I was just saying that now is a good time to visit or contact us (the students) for info because we are inbetween exams right now.

Does this school have a website? How much is the tuition? What is cost of living? Is it in the city?

Does this school have a website?
Of course. Have you had trouble finding it?
How much is the tuition?
It's on the website. Average about 10k$ per year.
What is cost of living?
Read my post from yesterday or the day before on cost of living here.
Is it in the city?
It's in a malaria infested swamp in the middle of 3rd world communist eastern europe. But we recently got Mysziszwaf to drain a big area of quicksand in which many medical students have died horrible deaths, so come check us out!
Yes, it's in downtown Krakow.
