for those who took the micro shelf, what was the thing you weren't prepared for?

Maybe the amount of questions regarding antibiotics. it was not a big focus in the micro class but for the shelf, they like to ask it. in some parts of the shelf, it felt like it was a pharmacology/microbiology test.

It wasn't the antibiotics questions we had trouble with. It was all the RNA/DNA virus, types of replication, and viruses period. I hear Kaplan clears it up a little bit so maybe the next group to take the micro shelf should take a look at kaplan and read up on it.

I haven't taken the boards, but I have to totally agree with you on the rest of the quote. She is good, and AUC is lucky to have her.
