Hey- I got my official acceptance today for January 04!



I'm very excited about going to AUC. This is my first med school acceptance, but I still have other applications in progress. I've got a possible acceptance to St. Georges, but I'm worried about the money/life in Grenada as my fiance is coming with. Also some DO/MD stateside apps still waiting to hear back from...

Can I only send the 450 as a deposit for now, and send the 1000 seat deposit later?

If I need to, can I defer acceptance to the May class?

Maybe, I'll see you on "the rock" soon! Any feedback appreciated.

Good job, this is great news! I don't have any answers to your questions (so why am I posting???), but I understand your dilema between AUC and the other schools and fiance and money and all that. You will know what is right for you. It is a pretty awesome feeling when you are looking at 3 or 4 acceptance letters. The hard part is then trying to decide which is number one...

Hey Congrats and welcome if you decide to come to AUC....and screw you if you go somewhere else...No No I kid, I kid . You don't have to pay the 1000.00 up front just call MEIO or write them a letter or email explaining why you can't at this time pay the 1000. Once you decide that AUC is where you want to go (when/if/whatever) add your name to the Jan 04 newbie thread.

ok so if i pay the 450, that is enough to hold the spot? i'm not sure if i want to go jan or may. when i call to tell them that i can't pay right now, should tell them the truth (not sure when/where to attend) or use a financial reason???

i don't want to lie, but i don't want to offend anyone either. either way they are still getting my 450, but please let me know what to do.
