Introduction
Well, I am going to take my chances. I had my interview, which went well and I just got a call from the Miami office. The director of admissions left a message for me (I am sure it is about my acceptance). I am going to jump out on a limb and HOPE that it is good news. Her tone of voice sounded very positive, so I hope that is a good thing.
I will introduce myself, if I am not there in Jan. I will let you all know. My name is Shawn Parcells. I grew up in Topeka, Kansas. I attended Kansas State University for my undergraduate work. My major was Life Sciences. I now live in Kansas City, MO. My medical background is extensive. I have interned in many places, inluding NYU Medical Center (Neurosurgery), UNC - Chapel Hill (Neurosurgery), Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN (Cardiovascular Pathology and Neuropathology), and the University of Kansas Medical Center (Pathology, Neurosurgery, Med/Peds, CCU, Neurology, and Cardiology). That is about it. If I get in I look foward to meeting everyone. Take care and talk to you all very soon. |
