Clinically Oriented Anatomy 4th edit,1999 by Moor &Dally is anatomy text? according to orientation guide

Hello ***** and all AUC friends

thanks for all the helpful postings on Books for first semester September 03. I have to clear this conflicting previous postings on Book lists versus AUC official Orientaion guid September 03' Book list. This Book list on AUC's new student orientaion guid lists " Clinically Oriented Anatomy 4th Edition, 1999 by Moor&Dalley, Lippicptt, Williams & Willkins" as OPTIONAL Text Book For Anatomy course. Is this indeed correct? does this means AUC keep changing the text book especially Anatomy?

Again, thanks for all the useful postings.

the following is the BOOK list-September 2003 AUC Orientation Guide:

First Semester
Last's Anatomy: Regional And Applied 10th Ed.1999 C.S Sinnatamby Churchhill-Livingstone

A Laboratory Guide For Medical Gross Anatomy, G.Colborn:Available in Note Services, AUC

Atlas of Human Anatomy-3rd Ed, Netter, Icon learning Services

Benchmark Questions, G.Colborn, Available in Note Services, AUC

Imaging Atlas of Anatomy-3rd Ed, Weir?Abraham, Mosby-Wolf

Clinical Gross anatomy(OPTIONAL), Colborn & Skandalakis, Parthenon Press 1993

Clinically Oriented Anatomy 4th Ed, 1999(OPTIONAL) Moor & Dalley, Lippicott, Williams & Wilkins

Photographic Atlas of Human Anatomy(OPTIONAL) Rohen/Yokochi, Lippicott, Williams $ Willkins

Human Embryology & Developement Biol, 2nd Ed,1999, Carson, Mosby
High Yield Biostatistics, 2nd Ed, A.N. Glaser. Lippincott, Williams & willkins

Biochemistry, Champe & Harvey, Lippincott, Williams&Willkins

Textbook of Biochemistry with Clinical Correlations, 5th Ed(OPTIONAL), Devlin, T.M, Wiley-Liss,NY

The Greatest Benefit to Mankind: A Medical History of Humanity 1st Ed,1998, Porter, W.W. Norton &Co.

If the above list is correct as it is, Please update the older postings for first semester Book list.

Thank you so much for your help.

Kenneth

These are what you need for Anatomy. I have a feeling Last's will be pretty useless, just like the Moore book was before. You may enjoy reading it, but it wasn't particularly required, in my opinion. Seems this last sem's students thought the same.

Hi-Yield Biostats
Lippincott's Biochem by Champe and Harvery

You need all 5 of these books, IMHO.

Some have told me the embryo book wasn't really needed, and Hist of Med is new, so no one knows.

Good luck!

moore

There are about 7 or so used Moores books for sale and since it's optional, I wouldn't buy it from the States.
