Thread: Emergency Deans mtg RE: loans???

Does anyone know anything about this emergency Deans mtg tommorrow regarding student loans? Im kinda freaked out after getting the email.

I have no idea what it is about. Since I do the $$$ for our family, I am hoping it is OK for me to go (even though I am not a student). Are spouse's/sig others allowed to go to these Fin Aid/Loan meetings?

Of course! Spouses are always allowed at Dean's meetings, clinical fairs, etc. Sometimes I would be the only spouse present, but I also do all the finances for my home and I'd definitely be there!

I said I'd definitely be there not I'll definitely be there...Sorry, I'm no longer on the island. Besides, like I stated before, I have been the only spouse at a student meeting, lecture, etc. and it's been fine. Everyone knows that the spouses oftentimes deal with a lot of the finances, etc. while their husband is in school, however children aren't usually allowed.

This just in: AUC is not accepting Private loans anymore, nor cash. All payments must be rendered in gold. Gold teeth also accepted.
