Can anyone direct me to a list of christian churches on the island??? Approximatly what percent of students and SO's attend church???

i'm just startin in sept, so i've got no idea about churches over there, but i'd like to get a bible study started when i get over there. let me know if you're down for that, or if anyone else is would like to get one started.

my spouse has got into AUC for Jan 04. We are waiting to hear back from SGU and Ross. So we are not sure where we will be heading just yet! But we spoke with two AUC grads that are currently doing their residency and they spoke so highly of everything from the education, to the atmosphere. I think we are now leaning towards AUC. But we'll see........

My wife and I are Christians, and we would love to get involved in a Bible study when we get there in Jan. Does anyone know of any Christian churches on the island? It would be great to meet other Christian couples!

There's a Baptist church that meets in Lecture Hall 2 on Sunday mornings and at Simpson Bay Yacht Club on Sunday nights. THey do beach bible studies, cookouts, etc. I wouldn't actually call it Baptist, even , more non-denominational. It is well-attended by both students and locals, and even tourists. I would say there is upwards of 150 most every Sunday.

Hi, Second Baptist Church-Houston...We will arrive in January and we would love to join a bible study and we are interested in a Christian Church as well.

The place is not listed in the phone book so it took me forever to find directions, but I finally found out where St. Mary' Catholic Church is - Simpson Bay, take turn off of Airport rd at Pizza Hut, its back by the elementary school.
