I'm sad

Just left a party my best friend threw for me. I'm
sad. I'm going to miss all my family and friends when I leave.

Something to note...you are about to meet lifelong friends in medical school, and you dont even know it yet! When the time comes, 20 months from now, you will be sad to leave the friends you've met in St Maarten. Some of them may end up going to the same hospital as you for clinicals. Your friends and family will be there when you return, and you may have incredible visits from them while you're on the island.

Bring some photos down with you, and save some money aside knowing you'll make those long-distance calls home. Sorry you're feeling sad now.

I feel you on that. I am going to miss all of my families. I had a going away pool party thrown by the bar staff, then a going away office party thrown by the GA St. Staff, then a going away Dave and Buster's party thrown by the fraternity, then a going away dinner given by my Mom for me and my closest friends. I was worn out before I ever reached the island.
