Thread: Vonage

Does anyone use the Vonage phone system? how does it work down there? seems like a good way to keep in touch with the states, but I am wondering how well it works bc i dont know how great the internet connections are. also, is there a big delay when talking to someone?

my friend has vonage. it works pretty well with very little delay. he has caribserve. the usual idl modem doesn't work with vonage. you have to request an ethernet modem inorder for it to work. cheers!

how much money should i expect to throw down for that when i arrive...any idea?
