Gyms in St Maarten

Without going into details, you are basically going to get a gym that I would laugh at in the states for a price above what I would pay in the states.

yea seriously... new york sports club may be a lil pricey... but i think its worth it. But i bet the gyms down there are going to be a rip off.. i think i saw on a thread that the gym at maho is $45/month...others at $150??? But anywayz... who knows if ill even have time to get my money's worth at the gyms. I'll just run on the beach, and use my books for weights if need be.....

For what? Broken down treadmills, a few free weights, a smith machine, some benches, and a tricep pulldown with ratty piece of 1/4 in. nylon rope (and no showers to boot!)....

Thanks, I'll stick to my 24 hour Fitness...

Aloha,

I try to help out as much as possible on these forums. I am a newbie and have not even set foot on the island yet. I have written posts on shipping cars among other things because I am doing a lot of research and I post them for others benefit. I am allready getting frustrated with people asking repeat questions. I know for a fact that I wrote one on gyms. do a search and you will find it. just to help a little bit, the gym I am most interested in and have shared several emails with is Marci's mega gym. they are $150 a semester for students and if you type in the name on google the website will pop right up. but do a search and all of the information is there. I'll need a partner when I get down there who is educated on spotting. Maybe we can get together.

Didn't we tell you to do the same when you asked it? We're all about self-sufficiency here anyways!
