24 MCAT is a tad low for most DO programs, dontcha think?

remember folks its not just grades, its what classes you took, where you took them and what was your degree in.

A 3.7 GPA advanced basket weaving with a minor in tractor pull from Bob's Downhome Community College is not as good as a 2.9 GPA neuroscience/microbiology degree from UCLA

As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.

I thought that too. But looking through profiles of various US medical schools.. wow, so many arts and humanities... why did I waste my time killing myself for B's and C's? I wonder.

Please. We all know that they will look at undergrad grades and send him the rejection letter. Stop putting out false info that post bac progs/masters prog help. ( There are very few that use this route).

What would be better is to take some easy science classess at a cc and pad up your science gpa as close to 3.0 and that will do the trick.

Post-Bacc program is based on a basic science curriculum required as a prerequisite for a medical school application

1 year Bio + lab
1 year Chem + lab
1 year Organic + lab
1 year Physics + lab

There are no other requirements, and "some easy science classes at a cc" can actually hurt your chances.
