well for a rotation to be "acgme approved" that means there is a residency program for that particular speciality...

to keep it simple..
look up ur hospital and see if there is a residency program there in the speciality u are are completing ur clerkship in....

if there is a residency program in example surgery.. then ur surgery rotation/clerkship would be "acgme approved".. if tehre is no surgery residency program listed.. then ur rotation is not acgme approved..

that is essentially how you check...
