January / May / August and odds of entry

Here is my scenario:

1) Married with two children under two.
2) I am not young but I am not old either
3) Out of school for decade and a half
4) 40 hours pre-med under my belt with 3.85 gpa
5) BUT! Still have not taken the MCAT

A) Should I wing it on the MCAT in April or buckle down and crank it in August?
B) Without regard to the above question (or with regard depending on your answer), if you were in my shoes, would you attempt entry in January, May or August?
C) What are the dangers of going in January and May with regards to rotations or residencies?
D) Besides all of this, do I even stand a chance of admittance to AUC?

Thank you for your thoughts.

a) crank it in August, it's hard to wing the MCAT
b) January or May
c) there may be a larger gap between when you graduate and when you can start your residency
d) yes, assuming you do decent on the MCAT

E. If you do well on the MCAT, try for a US school first.

I erred in my post...

I just read a series of posts saying "do not post your life story" about 10 minutes after posting something that very nearly passes for that.

Sorry for the breach in board rules. I just started on this site two days ago. Thank you for your patience.

if you get 28-30 on MCAT..you would probably
get into a US school...so prepare for MCAT in
August ..You have lots of time to review !!!
