You know, all this "i'm a serious student and I'm offended" stuff made me spit out my water while reading.

I mean these 'serious' people can't figure out how to live in the real world (doing laundry, cooking for themselves, terms of an apartment lease, changing a light bulb for god's sake) and are getting all holier than thou because of a board that goes off topic (as every board does) with banter about strippers, anatomy lab, and other garbage.

These are the same people that get trashed after exams and petition to get teachers fired because they can't party like they did in undergrad. If people can't let jokes regarding the lowest common denominator go, then what makes them think they'll be able to handle real, actual raunchy stuff like guys that froze their penis to a poll or a woman that stuck a beer bottle in her thingie in the ER and hear other people make jokes about it later? Face it, people are going to see/hear/learn about much much more offensive things IN REAL LIFE than on a message board. Go find something else to do.

p.s. strippers are not bad people I used to be one so I for one take GREAT offense at the statements made by the original poster regarding them!

I'm not a big fan of strippers. I don't mind humor thrown into posts, but pages and pages of it gets a bit old, and defeats the purpose of the forum, which is primarily for information. Who wants to go through a 27 page post looking for 2 good answers?? Maybe we could try to tone it down just a bit. G

ill be honest, it was getting pretty bad. i could make a thread titled "need a question answered". then i would ask what a question about school, the sky, a fungus on my foot.....whatever it was.

automatically the same group of people would turn it into a stripper joke/rant about PR. maybe all that ranting should be done on the relaxing lounge. if im not mistaken, there is a thread there already being used.

im not mad of anything, but it does get annoying every now and then.
