funny, really funny.
seems like our school (SGU) must have a relative of your genius. i dont feel too bad now. i thought our "genius" was unique to medical school. his nickname here is "HYPERTHYROID" because of his bulging eyes and his spastic behavior.

i wish i could post a picture of him here. it would be funny. he's thinks he's "Dr. Cox" from Scrubs and always has a pensive look on his face walking around calling everyone "gentleman"

im curious what happens to these folks during rounds in clinicals?

Every day, every class he has to raise his hand and ask a question. For instance, today in micro after a segment on alveolar macrophages, "Yeah, is this specific to alveolar macrophages?" Pure genius. I would've never thought to ask that question myself, are alveolar macrophages specific to the alveolar? Oh man..

His classic exploit was in biochemistry when we were discussing defective enzymes, "Yeah, I would just inject enzymes into the patient." Trotz seemed to be quite taken back with that comment for a while.

Then, during anatomy Dr. Chimi ignored him TWICE. It was hilarious.. he has his hand raised, Chimi looks at him, stops his lecturing, then continues and does it AGAIN when the guy doesn't take his hand down.

So what is the lesson learned here? Please don't subject your classmates to inane comments and questions that were addressed less than 30 seconds prior. There are better ways to get attention and brown nose. Either that, or get yourself tested for ADD.

one of your funnier posts SOE....lol...the sad part is that it is all TRUE...drives me nuts.....

No, I cannot help you get a residency.

Apply Now.....Get an MD in 6 Weeks....

If you fail at AUC, SGU, or Ross why not transfer to SMU, if you fail at SMU, why not try another SMU.

What's even sadder is..

a) I don't think he understood why people were laughing so hard when he was satirized on the last day of anatomy

b) He struts.

No medical term for it. SOme experts say the seminal vesicles can get uncomfortably full when there is recurrent stimulation without release. I hope I answered your questions. G

Great story SOE. You made my day! I always seem to get someone like that in my classes. It either makes the class funny as hell or just damn annoying.

I think

I think they recruit one or two of those for every semester. Just to keep people awake in class. G
