We have a genius at AUC. I'm sure most 2nd semesters know who this is. I mean, his genius is unparalleled!!
Every day, every class he has to raise his hand and ask a question. For instance, today in micro after a segment on alveolar macrophages, "Yeah, is this specific to alveolar macrophages?" Pure genius. I would've never thought to ask that question myself, are alveolar macrophages specific to the alveolar? Oh man.. His classic exploit was in biochemistry when we were discussing defective enzymes, "Yeah, I would just inject enzymes into the patient." Trotz seemed to be quite taken back with that comment for a while. Then, during anatomy Dr. Chimi ignored him TWICE. It was hilarious.. he has his hand raised, Chimi looks at him, stops his lecturing, then continues and does it AGAIN when the guy doesn't take his hand down. So what is the lesson learned here? Please don't subject your classmates to inane comments and questions that were addressed less than 30 seconds prior. There are better ways to get attention and brown nose. Either that, or get yourself tested for ADD.
