Well, .5 is an undefined number really. .5 what? It would be ridiculous though to assume that Han Solo could make it across the galaxy in his lifetime his ship, a fast one, could only go 1.5 times the speed of light, not to mention, how would you hold a galactic empire togehter?

83mcss.. what's not to like about Star Wars if you like guns and cars? Only instead of cars you got hot space ships that can blow crap up.

my ferrari fund

george, i bet my ferrari fund is less well funded than yours.....

i learned to cope though......when i finish med school i want a porche, i know that from driving them i can't fit not to mention the cost on an internist salary with two kids in private school so i will 'settle' for a saleen s351 mustang. 50K vs 80k much more appealing and since i am married and not looking for the booty factor in my car i'm alright with driving a ford.....

a supercharger in a 308 sounds nice.....i had a friend in high school who put twin vortech superchargers in a 93 mustang gt, , 17" ROH wheels, custom paint, shaved door handles, 1000 watt stereo, and just for craps and giggles a two stage shot of NOS. he had this sick vortech intake with an extra set of 8 65lb fuel injectors....this was a V8 with 16 fuel injectors and two 110 lph fuel pumps two superchargers and nitrous.....
he got so tired of racing cars that the only things he would race would be bikes and the only time i saw him loose was two years later when he blew the motor.......the heads popped off and left two huge bumps on the hood....wicked speed rules

on another note...i never knew i was surrounded by such huge dorks

From the website "The Rebel Alliance"

Corellian Bloodstripes
This Corellian award is represented by a three-centimeter-wide broken stripe if piping that runs along the outer seam of a pair of trousers. There are two levels of bloodstripe awarded. The Second-level bloodstripe is gold, and is rarely given out. The First-level bloodstripe is red, and is usually awarded posthumously because of the heroic deeds required to earn it. Most bloodstripes are earned for courage under fire. The wearer, though, is often recognized for simply being a human in the right place at the right time, enduring unusual hardships. The wearer is by no means a superhero. Han Solo is one of the few examples of a living Corellian who has earned First-level bloodstripes. He earned his Second-level bloodstripes for rescuing Chewbacca; he has never disclosed the reason he was awarded the First-level bloodstripes. He prefers to wear the yellow stripes, so as not to receive inquiries on them.

I knew I'd read that somewhere. I suppose it could be wrong. I am re-reading "The Han Solo Trilogy" right now. G

I don't understand why he would get the stripes for rescuing Chewbacca? Chewbacca was a slave and Han was an Imperial Officer.

Which trilogy? The old one set in the Corporate Sector or the new Han Solo trilogy?

it is a correlian award for heroic acts, its completly seperate from any inperial award. But suprising enough the imperials would allow correlians to wear the stripe.

and i really enjoyed the hans solo books, they shead a lot of light on the entire story line

Not aware of a new trilogy. The first book is the Paradise Snare. G

Sorry. You have been judged and found lacking. The NEW trilogy is the one that begins with the Paradise snare. The OLD trilogy is what is referenced when Han disappears to the Corporate sector.
