just wait until you're a resident and everything that goes wrong is your fault, no matter what. Even if it's the nurses fault, it's your fault for not catching the nurse......and sometimes if you point a mistake out to a nurse it's your fault because you pointed it out

So far this month I have only gone head to head with 1 nurse during a code who kept trying to administer meds without an order.....ugh ah well

i also had a nurse come up and yell at me in rounds saying "DR IBRAHIM YOU NEVER ANSWER YOUR PAGES. I HAVE BEEN PAGING YOU ALL DAY!"
My reply: I'm not Dr Ibrahim
Nurse: Well YOU should have told me that
Me: First I was like then i was like back off!

well I tend to wear my ID badge on my pants pocket so its usually covered by my lab coat but in any case my lab coat has my name in gigantic letters on the left side of the chest

on a side note, i look very german/sicilian.....ibrahim is not a popular last name there
