question about medical supplies to bring

hi all

I have a question about entering students.

do they bring their own supplies (gloves for anat, scrubs, anything else?) from the states, or do they buy them at the school or on the island?

what do people typically bring when they come down, in terms of supplies for school (i don't mean laptops, apc, etc...)?

thanks.

supplies

Alot of people brought down there own supplies such as scrubs and gloves. But, if you don't, you can purchase that stuff (even a dissection kit) from note service.

One thing about the gloves though, they only sell the latex ones.. so if you are allergic, bring some of the other kind down.

If you can fit some supplies, go ahead and bring them down.. I would buy some pens and a bunch of highlighters.. but thats just because I seem to have developed this compulsive habit to highlight everything at least 3 times....

Most necessary school supplies can also be bought down here, either at stores or at note service, but at a slightly higher price.. so no big deal either way.

Ditto what options said...unless you need a specific brand of highlighter or if you absolutely need to use that $300 Mont Blanc pen to take notes with and run out of ink every other lecture, then you can save the room in your suitcase for other essentials (x-box, DVDs, etc...). BTW, you can get Mont Blanc refills here...closest stop is at the Airport kiosks...$3 a piece for black ink refills!

Aloha,

IV supplies (NSS, catheters and drip sets) are useful for avoiding those annoying hangovers...

If you fail at AUC, SGU, or Ross why not transfer to SMU, if you fail at SMU, why not try another SMU.
