Off campus apartments tend to go anywhere from $900 - $2400...the sky's the limit. If you want to spend an exorbitant amount of cash, then there is a place to be had.

Beacon Hill has apartments which usually run in the $1200 - $1600 range in 1BR and 2BR units. The area is relatively safe with lots of students in the area.

Contact Karen Larmony from Coldwell Banker...she'll hook you up with whatever your specific needs are and will be more than happy to work within your budget.

Here's the link to St. Maarten Properties:

http://stmaartenproperties.com/

Other housing options (in order of progressive distance from school):

1. Beacon Hill
2. Simpson Bay
3. Cole Bay
4. French side (depends which way you go to get there...)
5. Liberia

Aloha,

....

I have a 2 bedroom 2.5 bath in Cote d Azur Marina and it runs $1600 plus utilities. I really like it here. It is quiet and I feel very safe here.

Are the apartments furnished?

If not, was it a pain having to find furniture etc?

How much do utilities run?

Apt.

The best advice I would give to anyone looking for an apartment is to get here early and just drive around. Real Estate agents will try to unload some crappy place on you most of the time. Also, apartments that are listed with the school or real estate generally cost a little more. I found my place in beacon hill, huge, two bedroom, next to the beach for $800/month just by driving around. You can't imagine all the stupid, crappy little places that those real estate agencies and newspapers usually have. Also, since this is such a small community the best way to find things is word of mouth. People that live here always know someone that's trying to rent a place. Good luck.

2 bedroom

Hi we have a 2 bedroom in pelican and we have already moved once after a realtor scarred us into a crappy overpriced dump. We found our new place which is nice and clean and with aa great view by driving around and saw for rent sign. Watch posts former students moving and maybe come down although it is very tight not much available. You don't need furniture most all places come furnished with everything to towels, blender, toasters sheets siverware etc. What you don't have you can pick up cheap from former students. You can also have spouses club assign you a sponsor who will go and look at a place to check it out. Good luck, Anne
