Thread: Date of dorm availability

Accepted for September. First day of classes is September 3rd. What is the earliest date I can arrive, in order to get settled in and get familiar with the area, and go ahead and move in to the dorm?

Call your advisory and ask them, although they will prob not know. Information and planning at AUC moves at kindergarten rate, its all crayons and nap time. You can usually get into the dorms about a week or less before class starts. If you want to get here earlier i would look at getting a hotel. If you rent a car and stay on the french side it will prob be a little cheaper than trying to say near the school because the hotels are more expensive on the school side.

The housing office usually does know, and from when I was there, I believe the move in date was August 30th or something along those lines. Just call the housing office at MEAS and they will be able to give you the information.

Call them, but it used to be the Thursday before the "first day" of school.

For the May semester starting May 7th , you can move in Friday, May 4th . (2012)
