Thread: How were you notified about being accepted / denied?

I've heard that people get phone calls on Fridays if they get accepted. Is this true? Do people who don't get accepted get the same phone call or a denied letter in the mail?

I'm just wondering because my app has been finalized.. So i'm just curious as to how I'll be notified either way! Thx

i got a phone call at 7:30 am PST.

Phone call.

I got a phone call, but it wasn't on a Friday so it could be any day of the week.

I got a phone call around 10:30 AM on a Thursday.

I called them and asked and they told me I was accepted. Apparently, they were going to call me later in the day. It was about 5 years ago though, so I don't remember what day it was.

Phone call. Letter in the mail a week later or so.

Got a phone call while I was at work.

I was notified by mail, but that might be because the phone number I gave doesn't work anymore

A phone call saying I was waitlisted....then another one the next day saying I was accepted....letter in the mail the next week
