Thread: Place to stay?

Is there absolutely any place to stay... Inn/ B&B/ hotel.. in Cupecoy that is not $200 bux a night? I arrive on the 30th and need a place to stay till jan1 or 2 till I can find a place to rent for next semester.

any help would be very appreciated!

if your renting a car and want to save some money stay on the french side because you can prob find a place for around 125 other wise be prepaird to spend some money on a hotel near the school or in maho. Also make sure your prepaird to stay in a hotel longer than expected if your apartment is not ready. That happened to me and a few people in my first semester i new. good luck!

doc2b, I called the hotels and either they didnt have availability or they said they offer no discounts and the rates are understandably high for the holiday season.. i think the cheapest i could find was 345 / night !

Call the Sonesta Maho. Tell them that you are an AUC student and you should be able to stay there for about $100/night It is high season though, so prices might be a little higher.

this place is right in Simpson Bay and not far from school. Pretty sure you can get a special AUC price for about $100 a night compared to $145 for the high season.

I called Sonesto and they said they no longer do discounts for AUC students. But thank you for the info all the same.

There is a Crewhouse at the airport close to winairs office. Its like $30-$45 a night. I think

We have a 2 bedroom shared condo for rent; 1 bedroom is still available!

I can make special arrangements if you wish a short term, but, I think once you'v e seen this place you'd make it your temporary home while on island.
