Here's something to think about:
AUC has been operating in a country outside of it's charter for 6-7 years now. This could mean bad news for Dr. G.D. and Faith. (Both of whom have been a great source of info for sometime). I checked AUC's website and it is chartered in Montserrat, not SXM. Checked the WHO website and it has no school listed as chartered on SXM, but strangely, there is a listing for Montserrat, an island mostly uninhabited since the volcano erupted.
Also, no foreign medical school is accreditted by the USDOE. A seperate committee accredits only for loan purposes and does not accredit the school, but the country in which the school is chartered. This is based on a comparison of that country's medical education system as compared to U.S. standards.
I felt compelled to share this information so this forum, and the authors so concerned about these issues, can finally be fed.
