Comparisons between AUC and UAG

I wonder if there are UAG students who transfered to any caribbean school, fi so what is your opinion about these schools.

I looked at the UAG posts, and the people tend to be very positive about their experiences there, but i also noticed that a key difference is that there are very few posts there, and AUC outposts UAG's by many 100's.

There are probablyh around 50 or so posts there, vs 100's at AUC, i wont bother to coutn them b/c they are so many.

PRobably two to three main reasons...
one, we have no life.... we're stuck on a deserted island of 37 square miles and they are in Mexico..... in Guadalajara where there is about a million or so in population(I could be wrong)

two, students at UAG are comprised of residents/citizens of Mexico as well other students from other countries. Whereas, AUC is mainly catering to US and Canadian citizens/residents.

three maybe they don't have internet yet.

Why bother your making your decision to attend med school ased on the number of posts in a particular forum? If that's all you need, go to Ross, as they've got three times as many posts as we do on the AUC forum. Otherwise, be sure to check if:

1) check out usmle pass rats
2) % who make it to the boards with the incoming class
3) residency placements and how they fit your needs potentially
4)states eligible for licensure
5)then within context of that information, take into account things like lifestyle, cost, etc.

There you go...good luck!

ALoha,

My apologies if I offended you by misinterpreting your "observation". UAG has a tradition of producing many fine graduates who are able to practice in the states via the fifth pathway. AUC, likewise, has produced numerous grads practicing in all 50 states. My "observation" is that you compared the UAG forum with the AUC forum and found a "key difference" in the total amount of posts in these fora. I merely added my $0.02 given the amount of information in your post quoted above. Once again, my apologies for reading into your post something that obviously wasn't there.
