Best way to ship my XBOX and PS2

I've appreciated all the advice that I have received. Now, I want to ship my XBOX and PS2. I have over 80 games (I use to be a computer tech) and have decided that I will need my two companions when I get some free time.

    Any suggestions on shipping them?

I packed my xbox in my carry on back pack and sent my games (just the disks in a soft caselogic CD holder) in my check in bags...everything arrived in great condition.
As far as free time, ask the current 1st sems how much free time they have with their new schedules...

    XBox

We packed our XBox in our suitcase packed between clothes and put the games into a cd holder in our carry-on and everything arrived in one piece. About that free time....there is none. I am not sure how the first semester was for previous semesters, but with the block scheduling there is not much time to do anything other than study and sleep and eat. The positive side of that is that you dont even realize that days and then weeks pass by without even realizing it. Only 12 more weeks to go!

    Shipping...

When we moved here, we shipped 25 boxes of stuff via 4 Star Shipping. (My wife insisted on shipping all sorts of stuff we don't really need ;-))
Anyways, I even shipped my desktop computer and LCD monitor. I bought a sturdy oversized box from a shipping company in L.A., I packed the computer in large bubble wrap and filled the box with styrofoam popcorn. To make a long story short, everything made it here in exceptional condition. Just pack it to survive the worse handling. We even shipped it by boat, cost us $200 to ship those 25 boxes, 4 Star by Boat is really cheap, they even deliver at your home for free.

Others have mixed opinions about 4 Star. Just make sure you don't cheap out on the packaging.

    Good Luck!

    ...

wow, 2 games systems... I wonder if there is a correlation between failing and the amount of video game systems you have in your house...(or computers for that matter).

(yeah, I know, I should be one to talk.....)
Finally beat Super Mario Bros within 7 mins.

    games

Didn't you see the research if you don't play video games you will suck at surgery.

One thing our xbox died due to a massive power surge... something about the sea air and the wires outside something crossed and we lost the box. We had a crappy surge protector on it. So make sure you bring some good surge protectors!! Trust me you don't want to be Halo-less halfway thru the semester.
