What are the chances that we will have power outages leading up to the next block? I am absolutely appalled at how bad the power outages have been. I have lived in third world countries. I have spent time in shantytowns, in refugee camps, and gypsy villages, and nothing has been this aggrevating. Its amazing to me that my bill doubles ever month, yet GEBE manages to cut services every month. I'm so glad I chose AUC over a D.O. school...

9.5 months left.

Dear Sir,

The current electricity demand is almost equal to our production capacity.
So we do not have much spare capacity at the moment
As soon as mechanical problems develop on one of the engines we will be forced to do load shedding.
This situation is expected to last for a few weeks until the engines that are currently down are back online.
Please bare with us during these difficult (warm) weeks

Regards,

Commercial Manager

Well its just a bit ridiculous with the power outages, especially getting a doubled amount bill this past month. I mean we are in 2009 and they need step up on their technology with the damn plant. It always seems to go out in Cupecoy, how convenient for all of us. Can't wait to get off this POS island.

It is only cupecoy, I'm in the point and it went out this weekend once (hasn't happened in 2 semesters) and we got a warning in the paper about it lol

Its definitely got to be a priority issue or something

Probably businesses vs. residential communities. And the few businesses that are in and around Cupecoy (like AUC, CIA, etc.) tend to have generators.

I think they do it to our area on purpose, especially because most of us are American and tourist. They don't care about us, and it gets annoying that its constantly happening.

The frequency of outages is getting frustrating. I was okay with once a week, but 1-2 times a day is getting out of hand.
