Ya, just saw the email. I guess all these "enhancements" cost money.
They better be buying up clinical seats in California or I'm gonna be pissed!

Well, they put in the (fast but spotty) fiber optic line, but they don't have enough access points so you sometimes can't get on during peak hours. There is no construction on campus, so I don't see any physical improvements. Someone told me they upgraded the gym, but most of the benches are have duct tape holding them together. Treadmills seems to be in good condition. And they also have flat screens in anatomy, which is somewhat helpful when Dr. Nash is explaining stuff.
I'll take the CEO's word when they say they are getting more clinical spots and expanding into new hospitals. They also claim to be recruiting new faculty for the basic sciences (does that mean Dr. McIntosh might not fail 30% of the class for fear of his job?). Who knows really... I have an idea, don't cool the building to 65C 24/7. Some places are just plain too cold to spend more than 30 min (such as the cafeteria), so maybe a little thermal efficiency would help reduce costs.

Yeah they may have upgraded the internet on campus but they are restricting it a lot. I can't even use it legally without getting blocked for too much bandwidth use...
What is the point of a major internet upgrade if your going to restrict its use?

Those so-called enhancements are simply fixing the bugs & problems that we have been complaining for years. I just can't stop laughing when they say the "IT advances" on campus are actually "enhancements".
Is there any way I can transfer to other schools like Ross or Saba? |

I would be fine with the increase in tuition, if they really did find better professors for the courses that will most likely weigh most heavily on the step. Physio was, and still is a joke, and the sad part is that we pay for their mistakes, not the other way around.

wow, i will also agree that these constant tuition hikes are rubbish. AUC's tuition is now officially higher then Ross for every semester. This was one of the things AUC had over Ross for some time. dang
