Seems they've just been spending too much time and money with Rocky Vista. A lot of the upgraded network equipment we got last semester was literally the leftovers from Rocky Vista's temporary location. Although AUC has been around many years longer, and actually has some sort of accreditation, our professors had to fly there to learn how to use SIM man!
From the picture of AUC on the home page of VMD it looks like you have a some nice looking large buildings.

AUC has two buildings....the school and the dorms. If you include the gym, we have 3. The dorms are pretty nice....not too much to complain about there. The school building is not in bad shape, it's just that they're not keeping up with other schools.

The lecture halls are quickly becoming outdated, the technology is past outdated, and they are about out of space. There is not a lot of study space, and almost no comfortable study space (if you don't want to study in wooden chairs, you're not gonna want to study on campus). The computer lab only has about 30 computers which are slow, and many are not fully functional. They talk about computerized testing, but it's going to be a long time before that happens. They also talk about building new lecture halls, but again, a long time before that can happen.

Class sizes keep expanding, but facilities do not. It is now to the point that a bunch of those chair/desk jobs have to be brought in to accommodate the number of students for exams. A couple of the lecture halls are flat, they all have columns in the middle of them, and depending on where you sit, it may be impossible to see all of the projector screen. This may not be a problem if they'd install the new plasma TV's they keep talking about, but the TVs they've got now are worthless.

Getting the idea?

AUC is only one building. Don't let that picture fool you. The other building is a residence hall mainly for 1st semester. The actual school is one building with disgusting fake gold decorations, because the owners enjoy wasting money on such rubbish.

Well to be fair, much of the gold was taken down. The inside of the school is still tacky, but less so than before. And, I have trouble believing that the "gold" stuff that was up before cost much money. One of the decorations was literally gold spray-painted steering wheel covers! They also save money on frames by framing things with wallpaper

And incorrectly abbreviating things. In the morning where the spouses sell coffee, behind that there is a picture hanging on the wall with an AUC grad on it...it says her name and what type of resident she is.

Dr. So and so..... " OBG/YN "

Don't forget about that statue of the owner... and he is not even dead yet! Given that throughout history most of the living with statues of themselves are usually notorious dictators of sorts, you can see where AUC might be headed....
