517 points Yes, I'm curious on this too. There's only so many Jolly Ranchers that can satisfy my appetite.
510 points what's ur room number LInkMoto? how are you going to feed your self tonite?
right next to campus is pizza dans- youll be well acquainted with him. i dunno if he is open right now though...he should be. cheap pizza, ok quality, quick.
a little further down is sugarcane, the restaurant inside the casino. anyone inside the casino will know what that is. kitchen is open late, about 12:45-1am. some cheap food, some pricey- i recommend the chili fries.
there's a few other restaurants within walking distance, but i dont wanna confuse you guys with directions. if you're feeling adventurous, check out deep bleu at the summit hotel- it's my favorite place on the island.
that should tide you guys over til you go shopping.
btw, when's the first semester welcome bbq? and if either of you want to buy some first semester books cheap, PM me
517 points I'm probably gonna walk around after the rain stops and find some grub. But those places are on my list to check out!
Yeah what Shwin said... Those places are for those without cars... there is a Subway in Maho (after the golf course)...
510 points I went to the bar next to the casino got a phili cheese steak and a coke. coke is so....expensive! any other recommended drinks?

510 points This is a good country! : )
529 points You'll learn that there are a TON of good plavces to eat on the island. Some good places not too far from campus are:
- Lee's BBQ- It's in Simpson Bay, go on the main road like you're going to the airport, but it's a little farther up than the airport, it's on the left after you cross over the bridge.
- Rick's Cafe- This is even closer. It's across from the McDonald's in Simpson Bay.
- Pineapple Pete's- Also in Simpson Bay, great place to eat. They have burgers, fresh fish, etc.
- If you like Caribbean Food, The Jerk is right near Le Grande marche' and it is GREAT, with good prices as well. It's a fast-food type restaurant, but the food is great. Also, the boardwalk in Phillipsburg has a lot of great restaurants. Talula Mango is great, as is Barefoot Terrace.
As far as grocery stores, there's a Rams grocery store in Cole Bay...I can't give you street names, but ask around and I'm sure someone can give you directions. The best grocery store on the island is Le Grande Marche' which is in Phillipsburg....again, I can't really describe how to get to it well, but anyone on the island will be able to direct you. It's not hard to find at all. These are just a few of the restaurants there are a TON more, depending on what type of food you want, how much you want to pay, etc. Trust me, food is one thing that you will not have to look hard to find. Bon appetite!
