Looking to rent a car, and we'll be arriving at night (about 9pm). Any advice on companies and pricing? Thanks in advance!

Hmmm Im not sure if the rental places are open at night, but make sure you compare prices with a few places. Budget is usually pretty cheap. Just don't take the first offer, take a quote and then ask a few other rental places in the airport for quotes and mention what you already had offered. You will learn quick that St Maarten is a barginers paradise! :P (i can't spell by the way)

Call them up and get prices from each first. Then go with the cheaper and make sure you can get the car at 9pm when you show up. Get a calling card from wally-world and use the international call to call these places. 599 is the country code. There is no area code, just the xxx-xxxx set of numbers.

Thanks! I'm definitely a bit worried about them being open at night...and with New Year's Day being the next day, I hope I'm not out of luck!
