Regency Park: pros vs. cons
Our members don't see this ad.
Has anyone heard anything about Regency Park? I'm trying to finalize an apt. there and it looks like there are some pretty good deals: $1150 (1st floor) to $1200 (2nd floor), washer and dryer in the apt, flatware provided, coffee maker, toaster, iron, ironing board, new sheets and pillow plus shower curtains. Did I mention internet is included? Crazy Has or is anyone living here at the moment who can verify any of this? Thanks

I live there now. Its not a bad deal. The place was completely redone fairly recently. I think most all of the units have had someone live in there for at least a while, so all the kinks should be worked out. The landlord is good if you need anything and is pretty flexible. Not a whole lot to say. Its generally middle of the road for total size. Having it completely furnished will definitely be nice for you. I had been in the dorms the previous semester, so a lot of the stuff I had already. Price-wise you're paying less than Solutions. The pool is pretty nice.
Let me know if you want pictures or if you have any other questions. |

That sounds like all kinds of fun could be interesting. Solutions is still offering places in Palm Court, Aventura, or the Lagoon view. Any opinions on these? Sure, all of them say utilities not included (which kind of blows) but how is utilities and internet anyway? Regency seems to have the one up on internet (could be a little bootleg goodness, but eh as long as it's decent).

Double-check that Wifi is included; we pay extra for it right now...but yes, our Internet easily exceeds that of anything else you'd get around here (most of the time).
I'm a current resident, so if you want the story on that and the rest, just ask! Last edited by nutsterrt; 12-06-2008 at 05:18 PM. |

Regency Park
I live at Regency Park. I started living here in August and by far this is the best place around. Its only 5 min walk to school and has everything in the units that you can think of not to mention the beautiful pool. Regency Park is a beautiful gated community. The units are not average I've been in a lot of other place's and I would say Regency Park has the same if not bigger units then all the rest, they have to with all the things they give inside. I don't know about any Mob thing and it don't matter I only know the owner Chris is great and is willing to work with people, from what I can see everyone gets along with him and he really cares to make everyone happy. It is also not run by Solutions. The Internet is great it is not Carib-Serve but a different provider, unlike ever where else there is no 1 month wait for Internet and no $400 charge for installation, its only a reasonable monthly fee for great Internet. Chris went all out to make sure we felt very happy here, from all the amenities in the apartment to the hot water to the Internet. I would strongly recommend Regency Park to anyone looking to live off campus. I hope this was able to give you more information.
