What are you looking for? In general, the restaurants are more expensive due to the poor exchange rate with the Euro.

The lolo's in Marigot and Grand Case are very good and most of them will give you 1 to 1 exchange if you ask. The pizza carry-out place just before Sandy Ground is also the best pizza I've had on the island.

If you want expensive food, the all you can eat lobster/wine buffet is in Marigot, Sol e Luna is an excellent place to take a date, and there are many very good restaurants in Grand Case. The French side is loaded with good restaurants, you just have to be prepared to pay a lot for many of them.

Good meals run about 55 Euro or more each person.

Grand Case has better high-end restos, but Marigot is closer and decent atmosphere, too.

If by restaurants you mean strip clubs, ziggy chang told us last night that there are not any on that side. Besides that pum pum hut or whatever the hell he was talking about but I do not feel like getting a main course with a side of the HIV.

I have eaten at a couple, and my favorite [relatively]inexpensive place is "Bali Bar". A steak meal will run you about $40-$50 if you get drinks.

Go down to Deep Blue, and take the water taxi to Tropicana (~6-9$ per person) -- pretty cool atmosphere, great service and excellent food. Reasonable prices for a nice dinner out

Ma Ti Beach is my favorite restaurant by far! Amazing food, decent sized portions, and moderately priced! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I used to go at least once a week. You won't be disappointed. It's the first thing on the left when you drive into Sandy Ground on the way to Marigot. There's a lobster on the sign. Closed on Tuesdays if I remember correctly.

Love the french restaurants, but I would have to say that La Petit Auberge in Marina Port Royale in Marigot, have the best food. Not too pricey and the lady there is a great cook!
