Thread: anyone not get a residency

I know most people come out of auc with a residency. however, some don't land anything. anyone know anyone who falls into this category, and if so, what are they doing?

of course. every school has folks who have failed to get a residency.

I always hear about the notorious year of "research", although I am not really sure specifically what students can do for this. It would be nice to have alternatives posted, if for nothing else, to create a backup plan if one does not match somewhere.
