Thread: dean's list.... weighted average

since we're not on the gpa scale, does anyone know how to calculate the weighted average with our final grades???

Muliltiply each final course grade by the course credit hours then divide by the total credit hours.

They do some other voodoo before/after that... Whenever I tried that calculation myself, the result was never the same as on my transcript.

My calculations always came up exactly as on the transcript

There is no Dean's List, as far as I know. If you are in the top 25% you will probably interview for the honor society though.

is that the same way you do the calculations? multiply each course grade by the credit hours and then divide by the total?

how about ICM credit hours?

What you don't know could fill volumes...haha...just kidding

There is a Dean's list every semester that is usually 87 total for your classes that semester.

it will be on the grade report sheet that you are given at the start of the next semester
