BIOchem FINAL Question

Hey, thanks to all of you who responded to my question about the anatomy final. I'm feeling much better about that final...should be
easy(ish)

...so tell me about the bio-chem final. Does Trotz write the exam? Has she always? How do you adivse us first semesters to study? I also heard that the curve was huge in the past semesters? I am far more concerned about the Biochem final. I actually need to pass this one...YIKES. So tell me what worked for you guys and I will do it!

Thanks in advance. Hang in there everyone.

Curve?

Ummm... NO.

Study like you always have. I don't know who is writing your test, mine (4 semesters ago) was half and half, I think.

By now you should have a pretty good grasp of what each teacher is looking for, and the types of questions they write. The Biochem instructors are nothing if not consistent in what they do.

The

best part of the Biochem and Anatomy finals is that there shouldnt be any new material on either one of them. This is a bonus, I think...Try to spend most of your time on the areas you were/are weak in. You will be suprised how some concepts/facts come back to you when you need them.

Most importantly, stay relaxed. Trotzs questions from the final were straight forward. Keep it high yield and you will be fine.

Todd

I believe Trotz did our entire final out of her interrelations packet, although I seem to remember a few Behrisch questions too. Very straight-forward, and NO...there is no curve anywhere to be found.
Best of luck!

Aloha,

multiple choice

Just wanted to clarify one thing......
All exams given throughour medical school are
MULTIPLE CHOICE just like the USMLE.
the only exception being the practical portion of gross anatomy?
(I wish that would also be multiple choice!!!!!!!)
