You can buy George Foreman here; Also, Brita pitcher comes in handy if the water goes out and you are thirsty

Its not about getting used to it, it tastes fine when you drink it. 2 problems with it: it is never cold enough and coffee tastes like crap

Foreman grills are available for normal price at Cost-U-Less, but about every fifth semester student I knew owned one that they sold for cheap when leaving the island. When coming to the island, get in good with a fifth semester and all the necessary items can be acquired for cheap.

I had a Brita Filter, but actually wound up drinking the tap water and did just fine (granted I also drink New York City tap water). Usually I had a bottle that I refilled with the chilled water from the AUC waterfountains as I wasn't going to waste refrigerator electricity cooling water.

I'm cheap and am too impatient for my pitcher to filter and get cold. The water fountain at the main building is ice cold and it tastes decent

Also the casino next to school has free drinks/bottles of water for the gamblers, I've asked for 4 bottles once, and they gave it to me
