this caught me off guard. i didnt know this was happening. is it possible that american is abandoning the caribbean slowly? it is going to get a lot harder to get to SXM with a decreased flight schedule..... actually harder to get to every caribbean island on american airlines. here is the translated webpage:

i would be worried more about those in the winter...they had a problem with de-icing systems i think. still, i'm much more happier with a couple of large turbofan engines

yeah, a few of those went down in cold weather... that's why i'm afraid to fly in those

yea i know..... the sju-sxm 757 jet will be a memory. what is really scary is that i used to feel comfortable to know that they always had a million sju-sxm eagle flights in case one (which usually happens once a day) get cancelled. now it looks like they are decreasing the eagle flights too.

still, just about every AA flight i've been on to and from sxm has been packed....doesnt make a lot of sense
