Bought Robbins never opened it. For micro, First Aid is great. Also the Micro Made Ridiculously Easy is great. Definitely don't need any of the books though.

Hope you still have Dr. B next term. I think shes going into contract negotiations soon.

Micro made ridiculously simple is great....don't bother witht he other two. Robbins is a must in my opinion.

If you have the time to use Robbins it is an excellent resource. I never had the time. I honestly opened up the book once, because Dr. S's renal notes I thought were terrible. Then I looked at Robbins and his notes basically copied Robbins...

dr s's renal notes were indeed poor

Robbins yes..
Micro - Dr. S is really good about her notes, but you really need some kind of text to reference to make sure she covered everything. She tests on all topics in USMLE, but sometimes she tests things she mentioned only once in class. So learn the notes, and also learn from a kaplan book or something else about what you should know about the bugs and laboratory tests. Try any usmle qbook for micro, do a bunch of q's and you might get a few test q's. Dr. S really taylors her q's like USMLE concepts.

This is very true. Take good notes in class. If you like to listen in class and review afterwards, make sure you make audio files to review b-4 the exams.
