Hello.
I have 3 questions to ask you.
1. What's the Post Match Scramble program?
2. What's the PGY-1 program?
3. What's the difference between those two when trying to apply for
Residency Matching?

If anyone else knows about it, please explain it in detail.
I'm really confused between those two.
Thank you.

One more thing...
What's the Swap position in Residency Matching?

Can anyone tell me in detail in a easily understandable way?

Is the token from ECFMG the AAMC#? Or are these two different things?
Thanks

Will I make the match?

To participate in the Match:
  1. you must be done with Step 2CK and CS before Rank Order List (ROL) are submitted. January to March the year before you want to match work on your schedule so you will have finished all you tests by November. This will give you plenty to time to get your results back to safely make theROL deadline.
  2. You must graduate at the latest by May. This will allow four weeks for ECFMG certification (minimum 4 to 6 weeks). January to March plan your electives so you will finish no later than May of the match year so you can start residency July 1.

You graduate May and begin residency the July of the following year, what do graduates do during this 1 year + off. Also, is this the reason why Jan semester applicants don't make the match because they graduate 1 semester after in August instead of May. So, does this mean that they have to wait until the follwing year to apply and then another year to start. Would you please explain this to me, I'm really quite confused. Thank You.

If you fail at AUC, SGU, or Ross why not transfer to SMU, if you fail at SMU, why not try another SMU.
