Could someone tell me some good places around here to pick up a good board?

there's a watersports place next to the scuba shop in simpson bay. they might have them

All the skimboards from most of the shops are rated for people under 100lbs (ie little kids). I would shell out the $100 and get a grown man one which are easier to ride and can stay afloat better. Always pay attention to the weight limit on those things b/c the longer boards are rated for more weight.

You can buy a skimboard at this water sports store next to the Hertz rental car place on the way to Marigot, not the one by the airport. It's about 10 minutes up the road from school and it's located on the right side of the road.

there is another surf store next to the greenhouse but they don't have skimboards and their other location is in marigot, but I know those boards are ~200

so maybe after block I'll get one

There is also a surf shop in Cole Bay, right after the big block roundabout, as you head toward the Phillipsburg hill. I haven't been inside, but they might have one.
