If you've finished all of your coursework and rotations, why would you not get your degree?

If you fail at AUC, SGU, or Ross why not transfer to SMU, if you fail at SMU, why not try another SMU.

i thought the degrees were only issued once a year. so if you missed the time you have to wait. could be wrong though

From what I understand, once you finish your rotations, take your boards, complete your shelf exams, and everyone signs off, then your good to go

Correct me if I'm wrong. But I beleive that you graduate with your term (receive your diploma) but then all terms gather together once/year for a ceremony.

Yes, in a sense that is correct. You graduate whichever is the closest date for you to recieve your diploma when all of your rotations, exams and fees are completed. There is only 1 cap and gown ceremony a year.

Which I believe needs to be moved to an "off-season" time period as it will be cheaper to fly and get hotel rooms for since there is typically more than 1 person going to the island.
