Pretty much a 27 square mile radius from the school is high crime...

Any dark areas with no tourists and poor locals.... stay away.

I spent 20 months on that rock... never once even SAW crime or trouble, much less a victim. Only once did someone try to open my front door quietly at my apartment at night, and when i yelled they got silent and went away.

Its fine, just be smart.

Yeah, I do not think you want to be cruising around the locals that much!

its unavoidable.....like macgyver said, just be smart. the golf course at night is a good place to avoid. there have also been problems in the parking lot for sunset/bliss/bamboo bernies......right next door to that beacon hill which has problems also from time to time

Don't walk around fanning yourself w/ $20 bills in Cole Bay after midnight. Trust me, I learned the hard way.
